Mound is a city of about 10,000 people located fifteen minutes west of Minneapolis. According to the US Census Bureau, the city has a total are of 4.9 sq miles, only 2.9 sq miles of which is land, leaving 2 sq miles of beautiful lakes for residents to enjoy. Lakes which call Mound home include Black Lake, Dutch Lake, Lake Langdon, Saunders Lake and Seton Lake, all part of the Lake Minnetonka chain.
